Quick Facts
- Hometown: Pillar Point, NY
- Lacrosse Bio: I was born and raised in the North Country playing lacrosse from the age of 11 at General Brown (’01) before continuing my lacrosse career at Utica College (’05). I had a successful career at the collegiate level and still on some all-time lists at my alma mater for assists (2nd) and total points (5th). After college, I coached at the high school level from 2006-2012 at General Brown, Indian River, Hall (CT), and Chittenango. I took a break from coaching and started playing again from 2013-2018 for the Syracuse Stingers Box Lacrosse club and in 2022 played for the Upstate Champions of the NABLL for the Utica Yeti.
I am currently the head of the program at IHC where I will lead the school’s first Varsity program in several years. I am also the Owner/GM/Player for the Thousand Islands Spirits of the NABLL, which is a local semiprofessional box lacrosse team that won the Upstate Championship and finished 2nd in the country their first summer (2023). I am excited for the opportunity to work with 1812 LC to help develop our youth’s lacrosse skills and abilities. - Hobbies: I stream Fortnite. Follow apex_rally on Twitch and YouTube
- Favorite Food: Taco Bell (IYKYK)
- Favorite College Lacrosse Team: Syracuse
- Biggest Highlight of playing/coaching career: Bringing box lacrosse to the North Country and creating the Thousand Islands Spirits. This was the best way to honor the family members I have lost and it will last for years to come. 2023 was a dream come true and the Spirits will be another vehicle for our local youth to develop lacrosse skills and toughness on the field. We were able to go all the way to the National Championship game in our very first year! Even though we didn’t win it all, this was by far my best lacrosse accomplishment. Seeing the support of our local community and the medicine it gave myself, my team, and my family was truly incredible.
