Quick Facts

  • Hometown: Adams Center, NY
  • Lacrosse Bio: I grew up all over the world as my father was in the military (Army). Living in New Jersey on a military base sparked my interest in lacrosse at a young age. I remember watching Army play while not understanding the sport. Intrinsically I knew I wanted to play when I got older as it looked like a lot of fun! My father moved us to New York upon retiring and I ended up playing high school lacrosse at South Jefferson and graduated in 2005. Although I had opportunities to play college ball I hung it up after graduation and focused on obtaining a degree in teaching. I did not get back into lacrosse until I had a son (2015) and started coaching youth lacrosse at South Jefferson with my old SJ teammate ,Coach Chad Green. I love working with kids and taught junior high and high school for the NYS public education system for approximately 4 years. My time working with kids was invaluable and taught me a lot. I’ve since moved on from teaching and have had a career with the New York State Police since 2012.
  • Hobbies: My favorite pastimes involves playing and spending time with my kids and sometimes escaping into the outdoors to hunt. I still love lacrosse and am proud to dedicate myself to the sport to encourage and watch younger generations enjoy a game I loved so much.
